Inspired by the rich cultural traditions of its coastal surroundings yet thoroughly contemporary in style, Borgo Egnazia is a masterpiece of luxury, architecture and design. The 5-star resort is built entirely of indigenous local resources, with every detail meticulously researched and selected to ensure it meets the highest international standards. All resort amenities and services will be fully operational by mid-July, in time for the height of the season. Guest Rooms, Suites and More

The “Borgo” is centered around the hotel, which counts 63 guest rooms and suites featuring soaking tubs, walk-in showers, outdoor patios or terraces, as well as high tech amenities. There are also 93 one- and two-bedroom Village Suites, each similarly equipped as the hotel rooms but with full kitchens and access to walk-out gardens, courtyards and/or second floor terrace balconies.

The Villas are each 2,700 square-feet and feature three bedrooms, rooftop terraces, gardens and private swimming pools. The village area also has Apulian townhouses; both are ideal for family getaways.

On the Menu

Drawing inspiration from the fertile coast and warm Mediterranean climate, Borgo Egnazia offers a choice of three restaurants poised to become destinations for authentic regional fare from only the freshest local ingredients. Located just off the hotel lobby, Due Camini is already running, as well as the lounge restaurant at Bambù Beach Club. A restaurant in the village is scheduled to begin welcoming diners this summer.

The Borgo Egnazia culinary team has launched onsite cooking classes, offering hands-on instruction on how to create regional cuisine of the Adriatic Coast such as fresh pasta, fresh bread and popular local vegetables like Cime di rapa (Italian broccoli rabe). Classes can be booked now and start at 100 Euros for three courses of instruction -appetizer, entrée and dessert.

The Spa

Egnathia Spa is due to open in July and is set to become one of the leading Italian refuges of wellness and beauty. More than 18,000 square-feet, the spa focuses on the philosophy of the bathhouses of Ancient Rome Termae. The spa will offer 14 treatment rooms including a spa suite with its own garden and steam room. It will also feature a full spa menu, manicure and pedicure station, hair salon and barber shop, Technogym fitness facility, yoga & pilates studio and café and book shop.

Plenty To Do and Sea

Much awaits guests on property. The San Domenico Golf Club stretches between the resort and the Adriatic, with emerald greens surrounding 18 holes fronted by magnificent sea views. The hotel also offers three on-site tennis courts, four swimming pools and a Kids Club.

Nearby are beautiful beaches and intimate coastal villages rich in the culture and scenery. Indeed, the whole of Apulia is waiting to be explored, from the UNESCO World Heritage town of Alberobello to the unique Baroque architecture of Lecce.
