The Chef creates a top and bottom layer of smoke salmon with minced onions, capers an Japanese maple leaves. Sandwiched in between the two layers is a mix of sour cream, cream cheese, egg salad mixed with caviar and salmon roe. A range of flavor and textures abound in this delightful dish.
Sakura Shrimp Fried Rice
The Chef has selected Dong-Gang’s famous Sakura Shrimp to be skillfully stir-fried with eggs and rice. The trick to perfection is the right temperature, quick stirring allowing all the elements to come together before it becomes overcooked. Each rice will be distinctly separately from the other and yet the flavors are so enticing that you will ask for more.
Cherry Blossom Red Bean Cheese Cake
(With the choice of Cherry Blossom Tea, Japanese Cherry Tea or Strawberry Tea)
The Chef’s hand-made creation, this special cheese cake combines slow-cooked sweetened red bean paste, is mixed with marinated Japanese cherry blossoms and dressed with green tea powder. The result is a subtle, pleasant blend of flavors from the creamy cheese cake, offering a perfect ending to this set menu with a heart-warming cup of tea.
