Six Senses Destination Spa Phuket, a new Wellness Retreat created by world famous luxury resort brand Six Senses, has been voted ‘Destination Spa of the Year’ in the 2009 AsiaSpa Awards.
The newly-opened destination spa is located on its own private island, Naka Yai, off the coast of Phuket. Designed as a ‘premier destination spa for the 21st century’, the retreat offers multi-day, integrated health programmes and a wide array of therapies by world-renowned wellness consultants.
Drawing on Six Senses’ 15 years experience in luxury spas worldwide, it focuses on preventative wellness, helping to enrich lifestyles through complete immersion into healthy and mindful living.

The heart of the property is the spa, featuring four interrelated spa concepts that will delight the eye as guests set about achieving their goals. The themes are Chinese, Indonesian, Indian and of course Thai, covering a footprint of more than 7,000 square metres.
Accommodations are all 450 square metres private pool villas, surrounded with edible landscaping. Mostly one bedroom, there is also a three-bedroom 2,500 square metres Retreat on The Hill and a cluster of villas called The Enclave, which is ideal for a group of friends or even members of the board looking to focus on wellness mixed with a little executive decision-making.
