Feng Shui Beauty pioneer Billy Yamaguchi will open his very first Yamaguchi Salon outside of California at the award-winning Lake Austin Spa Resort in Austin, Texas, on October 19, 2009.
This international celebrity stylist has created harmonizing looks for A-list celebrities as well as sports stars, including Jennifer Aniston, Brooke Shields and Kate Moss, and L.A. Laker’s coach Phil Jackson. People across America sing the concept’s praises for creating looks that are in sync with the mental and spiritual components of an individual.
The Yamaguchi Salon will offer an array of services and products designed to harmonize with each guest’s personal elements of beauty through hair, make-up and lifestyle consultations. He has pioneered the concept of Feng Shui Beauty, or the “elements of beauty” — an innate understanding and enhancing of energy through the five elements: fire, earth, metal, water and wood. The Yamaguchi Design includes a Feng Shui consultation featuring an aromatic “sensory journey” with organic essential oils, haircut, color, highlights and make-up application or guests can simply come in for ala carte salon services with one of the expertly trained hair designers.

Yamaguchi is the president and co-owner of Yamaguchi Enterprises and is a spokesperson for Schwarzkopf, Inc, a well-respected hair color manufacturer. He is the author of two books, Yamaguchi Feng Shui: The Art & Science of Color Formulation and Billy Yamaguchi Feng Shui Beauty. He has conducted educational classes and corporate seminars throughout the U.S. and overseas. His work has been featured in magazines such as Town & Country, Vogue, W, Allure, Glamour and Self.
