Decadent dark chocolate and creamy fruit yogurt are just two of the unconventional ingredients used in the latest offerings at the RockResorts Spa at The Lodge at Vail in Vail, CO.
Spa Director Toni Maggiore has created a new spa menu just in time for the fall season. Here is a brief description of signature treatment highlights:
Dark Chocolate Mudslide: This tantalizing treatment starts with a pudding-like exfoliation made from pure chocolate liquor, organic turbindo sugar, kigelli and organic shea butter. The creamy chocolate concoction will leave the skin delicately soft with a rich brownie aroma. Guests finish off the delicious wrap with a cup of hot cocoa.
Yogurt Fruit Escape: This creamy fruit yogurt formulation is rich in the powerful anti-aging ingredients of retinol, collagen polypeptides and elastin polypeptides to dramatically reduce signs of aging and dehydration. Treatment includes the Ultimate Body Buff followed by a relaxing scalp massage and hydrating wrap, leaving the skin feeling soft, supple, hydrated and firm by enhancing the absorption of essential minerals and vitamins.
Youth Recovery Facial: In this highly-effective anti-aging facial, pure caviar and a revolutionary blend of botanical extracts are layered on the skin to improve firmness and smooth away fine lines and wrinkles. A rich mineral mask is applied, leaving the skin visibly healthier and younger-looking.
The Lodge at Vail’s 11,000-square-foot RockResorts Spa (including a fitness complex and movement studio) opened in July 2008 with 11 treatment rooms, including a couples’ room with a fireside soaking tub for two, a wet treatment room, two facial rooms and seven massage rooms.
Located in Vail Village, the AAA Four-Diamond Lodge at Vail has 165 rooms and suites that are designed as a European chalet, and two restaurants including The Wildflower.
