The 2009 Condé Nast Traveler Readers’ Choice Awards ranked Barnsley Gardens Resort 26th out of more than 70 entries in the “Mainland US Large Resorts” category. Barnsley was one of only three Georgia properties to be included in this category.
Considered by many to be the pinnacle of recognition from one of the world’s most prestigious travel authorities and their savvy readers, the Readers Choice Awards evaluates hotels and resorts around the world on the following criteria: rooms, services, food/dining, location, overall design and activities / facilities. More than 25,000 Condé Nast Traveler readers were surveyed to compile the 2009 awards list.
