Award-winning Willow Stream spa, Fairmont Hotels’ signature spa brand, opens at Fairmont Yangcheng Lake, providing a luxury destination for local residents and those visiting the picturesque city of Kunshan, China.
This modern and stylish 1,300 square meter, eight-room Willow Stream spa features an extensive array of facilities that include relaxing lounges, a tea room, an in-door waterfall pool, an outdoor pool with whirlpool, men’s and women’s steam rooms, saunas, therapeutic mineral pools, experience showers, cooling ice fountains, a fitness center with state-of-the-art TechnoGym® equipment, and a movement studio. A grand suite, complete with its own spa facilities, can also host group ‘sparties’.
Fairmont Hotels will open three Willow Stream spas in 2010. In addition to Fairmont Yangcheng Lake, Willow Stream will debut at Fairmont Beijing in the summer and the legendary Fairmont Peace Hotel in Shanghai in the Fall.

Willow Stream Elements, a 90-minute body experience incorporating centuries old traditional spa experiences including a medicinal Moor Mud body wrap and therapeutic bath and massage with juniper, mandarin and fennel to stimulate and rejuvenate dry skin.
Lady Yang , a 120-minute bathing ritual inspired by Lady Yang Gui Fei, considered to be one of the most beautiful women in China’s history. The experience begins with a chamomile foot soak and gentle body exfoliation, followed by flower laden chamomile bath. An organic lavender and edelweiss massage and wrap complete the experience.
Oriental Bodywork, 90-minutes of energy renewal engaging all five senses and reducing muscle tension with a treatment using the revered flowers of China including chrysanthemum and bamboo.
Imperial Jade Facial is a 90-minute exclusive facial incorporating the healing powers of jade stone which harnesses the regenerative properties of rose, geranium and evening primrose oil.
Zest for Life is an energizing and uplifting experience for two that starts with an exfoliation of freshly ground orange rind, ground olive, aloe and essential oils followed by an energizing bath. A complete head-to-toe pressure point massage with stimulating oils of pink grapefruit, rosemary and juniper berry and a refresher facial complete the experience.
Another signature of Willow Stream experience are the inviting spa lounges that encourage guests to enjoy the spa as a social scene and spa cluster treatment rooms that are perfect for enjoying the spa with friends and family.
