So what do guests and visitors have to say about this Resort ? Here are some extracts of recent guest reviews :
A holidaying couple from Paris, France had these praising comments from their recent stay there :
To summarize, it’s gorgeous from every aspect. Absolutely flawless service, amazing architecture, incredible landscaping, extraordinary situation on Phuket Island.
Besides having your huge private pool in your Villa, the main pool is on attraction of beautiful design, only steps from the everlasting and almost virgin beach of Khao Lak.
The Villas are at a very high end standard in every aspect, your private patio around it is relaxing, intimate and very well equipped.
Both of the restaurants are excellent, and the Tree Top Bar and Wine cellar an experience to behold.
The location is perfect if you’re looking for luxury in a beautiful Thailand surrounding without the “bustle” of Pathong, which you can nevertheless easily reach by car or transfer.
The staff was very welcoming and took care of our smallest wish. We visited some of the other Top Hotels which are close, and can only advice you to make the right choice. This beautiful boutique Resort is one of a kind and definitely playing in its own league.
A couple from Surrey, UK also liked the resort but found it very pricey :
We certainly found this hotel to be one of the highlights of our trip, the service standards & villas were excellent. All the staff were so very friendly.
The food was excellent, and the public areas were really impressive especially on a night with the natural torch lights burning along the bridge walkways. The Sea, fire and Salt restaurant and bar was so trendy it could have been Miami.. with a DJ playing background music on evenings.
Our only negative was the in hotel pricing it was the most expensive hotel we have found in Asia, and we have stayed in several expensive hotels all over the region. l know the strength of the pound does not help, but it was £100 a massage, £12,00 for a club sandwich at lunch, the cheapest bottle of wine was £30,00… it soon added up, and its awful when you start being careful… its also a little out on its own so it lends itself to a shorter duration trip.
In general the reviews are positive and praising but many feel that the resort will only get better as the gardens mature and the staff get more experienced and whilst the resort is offering very high standards and luxury in every aspect, it does come at a high cost to the guests.
